JOB TITLE: Youth Independent Living Advisor (ILA)
PRIMARY LOCATION: Boulder Office
FLSA/EMPLOYEE STATUS: Part-time (18.5 hrs./wk.); Non-exempt
PAY & BENEFITS: $17.50/hr. Benefits include: Employee Assistance Program (EAP); 401(k); and paid holidays, vacation time, sick time, and personal days.

SUMMARY: This position will focus on providing Independent Living services to youth with disabilities ages 14 to 24. Services may include: individual and systems advocacy, Independent Living skills training, information and referral services, and peer support to individuals and groups of youth and/or parents of youth with disabilities. The individual in this position will serve as a role model and mentor for people with disabilities within the community, and maintain positive and effective relationships with CPWD staff and partner agencies. This position is funded by a two-year grant from the Daniels Fund. As the conditions for the grant are met, the positions may grow to be funded by other sources.
