    SUMMARY OF POSITION TGTHR seeks a competent and qualified bookkeeper to assist the Business Manager in managing accounting operations for the organization. A successful candidate is hands-on and participative and understands the importance of keeping TGTHR’s office operations as efficient and transparent as possible. 

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Accounts Payable

    • Data entry of bills into QuickBooks Online and classifying by category, project, and class.

    • Communication with vendors for new account set up, payment information, W9’s, etc.

    • Ensuring organization’s 16 credit cardholders have captured copies of their receipts and coded transactions correctly.

    Accounts Receivable

    • Ongoing creation of invoices/pledges.

    • Posting of donor/sales receipts and donor/customer payments.

    • Maintenance of customer accounts.

    • Support Business Manager with bi-weekly payroll.

    Monthly Accruals

    • Management of monthly prepaid expenses.

    • Payroll accrual

    • PTO accrual

    Other

    • Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.

    • Assist with reconciliation of QuickBooks and Salesforce.

    • Assist with month-end close-outs.

    • Provide financial reports as requested by the team.

    PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • 4+ years of experience functioning in a financial role.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, preferred.

    • Ability to think ahead and anticipate issues and solutions.

    • Ability to work, take ownership, and succeed in a rapidly changing environment.

    • Strong verbal communication, written communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Understands and respects the importance of confidentiality.

    • Strong computer skills, including GSuite, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online, Melio, DIVVY Credit Card Management and Paylocity.

    • A multitasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment.

    • Willingness and ability to work in a dynamic environment, in a team setting.

    • Ability to sit for long periods of time while also performing typing duties.

    • Minimum of 21 years of age.

    • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.

    • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and other strenuous activities.

    BENEFITS & COMPENSATION Salary Range: $25-$30 per hour.
