    TITLE:  Beyond Vision Program Assistant
    PRIMARY OFFICE:  Boulder
    FLSA/EMPLOYEE STATUS: Part-Time (20 hrs./wk.); Non-exempt
    PAY & BENEFITS:  $16-$17.50/hr.  Benefits include: Employee Assistance Program (EAP); 401(k); and paid holidays, vacation time, sick time, and personal days.

    ABOUT US:   CPWD is a Center for Independent Living (CIL), which is a cross‑disability, consumer‑directed, nonresidential private nonprofit agency operated in a local region by individuals with disabilities, providing various independent living services.  At least 51% of our staff and Board are people with disabilities.  Join us!

    SUMMARY:   This position will serve as administrative support for the Beyond Vision program, which provides individual services and low-vision support groups for people with visual impairments or blindness who reside in the counties of: Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver and Jefferson, Gilpin, and Weld.  The job duties of this position will support all counties served by the program.  The individual in this position will be based out of the Boulder office.  Periodic travel to community partner sites throughout the Beyond Vision service area will also be required.  The individual in this position will serve as a role model and mentor for people with disabilities within the community, and maintain positive and effective relationships with CPWD staff and partner agencies.
