    TITLE:  Independent Living Advisor (ILA)
    PRIMARY OFFICE:  Longmont
    FLSA/EMPLOYEE STATUS: Full-Time; Non-exempt
    PAY & BENEFITS:  $19-$23/hr.  Full-time benefits include: medical, dental, vision, life and accident insurance; Employee Assistance Programs (EAP); 401(k); vacation time, holidays, sick time and personal days.

    ABOUT US:   CPWD is a Center for Independent Living (CIL), which is a cross‑disability, consumer‑directed, nonresidential private nonprofit agency operated in a local region by individuals with disabilities, providing various independent living services.  At least 51% of our staff and Board are people with disabilities.  Join us!

    SUMMARY:
       This position will primarily focus on providing one-on-one Independent Living services to Boulder County residents, but may be asked to provide services within any of the counties in CPWD’s service area.  Services may include: individual and systems advocacy, Independent Living skills training, information and referral services, peer support; and benefits, housing and employment assistance to consumers requesting CPWD services.  Will serve as a role model and mentor for people with disabilities within the community, and maintain positive and effective relationships with CPWD staff and partner agencies.
